At CordaAurea, every puppy is raised with care, attention, and the goal of becoming a well-rounded family companion. From the very first days, we focus on giving them experiences that set them up for a confident, happy life.
When a litter arrives, I am with the mother from the very first signs of labour until every puppy is safely here. I stay beside her throughout the entire whelping process, keeping her calm, offering gentle reassurance, and assisting where needed.
Each puppy is gently dried as they come into the world, rubbed warm, and encouraged to take their very first breaths. There’s always that moment of waiting for the tiny cry, the sound that tells you they’re breathing well and ready to begin their new journey.
Once they’re stable, each puppy is weighed so we can monitor their progress and make sure every pup is thriving. .
Starting just a few days after birth, we introduce our puppies to gentle bio-sensor exercises. These carefully designed touches and handling exercises help strengthen their nervous systems and encourage proper physical and mental development. Early stimulation supports confidence, resilience, and adaptability.
As they grow, we gradually introduce our puppies to common household and yard noises, such as vacuum cleaners, blenders, washing machines, lawnmowers, and other everyday sounds. This helps them remain calm and comfortable in typical family environments and reduces fear of everyday experiences.
Puppies are given the opportunity to interact with our adult dogs, learning important social skills and canine communication. These interactions help shape balanced behaviour and teach the puppies how to be polite, confident, and happy around other dogs.
We also welcome visits from friends and family, exposing puppies to a variety of people, ages, and interactions. These experiences teach them to be confident, friendly, and adaptable when meeting new people, preparing them for a smooth transition into their new homes.
